PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Mazzeo concentrates his practice in patent prosecution, trademarks, litigation and other interparty matters. His patent experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications and rendering opinions on the patentability of inventions. Mr. Mazzeo focuses his patent practice on design patents and utility patents in the mechanical arts and business methods.

Mr. Mazzeo advises clients on trademark matters and prosecutes trademark applications in the United States and foreign countries. He also has substantial litigation experience in federal and state courts.

Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Mazzeo practiced in an intellectual property law firm in Philadelphia. He also has been a presenter at seminars for attorneys on the subjects of patents and trademarks.

EDUCATION
Mr. Mazzeo received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, where he was a member of the school's law review, The Widener Law Journal, and received an American Jurisprudence Award. He received his M.B.A. from Lehigh University and B.A. from Ursinus College, where his studies included numerous courses in biology and chemistry. Mr. Mazzeo is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Mr. Mazzeo is a frequent Continuing Legal Education lecturer to fellow attorneys in the subjects of trademarks and patents. Mr. Mazzeo is an active member in the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He was the 2006-2007 Chair of the Trademark Section. Mr. Mazzeo also is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association and the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association.
